Even though the blog says “LaPerm owner” we also have Selkirk Rex, another fairly new curly breed, cats. Here are two kittens we had : Dimma to the left and her brother Douglas on the right. [EDIT: I added a bonus photo of another former kitten ; Filiokus - him being a shorthaired Selkirk Rex, the other two being longhaired]

Cats Day 2008
This weekend we spent showing our cats to the public .. Showcasing LaPerm and Selkirk Rex ; also on display were Bengals, Ocicat, Maine Coon and Somali. – and oh yeah.. all photos by me.

Today was the first day of snow! – Two of our cats went outside to experience it first hand, for our LaPerm boy Bysen it was the first time – Abracadabra, our Selkirk Rex male has learned to love it.

Also, today my sister-in-law and her great family came to visit us.. and since “I have a camera” I was asked if I could take a few portrait photos of their two youngest sons. I’m not much of an instructor so I just let the boy do whatever he felt like.. and I guess his impatience shines through on these shots 
(I have yet to look at the photos I took of his brother)

Our catsafe garden..
This summer our catsafe garden was completed… here you can see a video of it_ and oh yeah - it’s “LaPerm” and not “La LaPerm”. We had ten kittens at the time.

This summer we had 10 kittens at the same time, one LaPerm and one Selkirk Rex litter – each litter cosisting of 5 kittens each…. when we discovered fleas they had to have a bath.. here’s the Selkirk Kitten HokusPokus:
