Rusty old junk.. (?)
.. but beautiful .. I took this photo a couple of months ago and thought it’d be a break from the many cats I have posted lately..
Lilla Ma
Or Little Ma in english… this is from the same photosession as I have previously posted Blunder. Lilla Ma – or Heras she’s called nowadays is a female Selkirk Rex. I will continue posting photos from this session the coming days…
Blunder
Brother of Bysen and a Straight Variant LaPerm (meaning he’s not curly). He now lives a happy life with his sister Bejla. I took a series of photos like this when we , at one time, had 10 kittens (5 LaPerms and 5 Selkirk Rexes) – all born within a week.
In lack of anything else to post; here’s a cat in a paper bag :)
Same cat, our Bysen… right now – or rather 10 minutes ago:
Time to bury Christmas?
… or atleast the Christmas tree…
Nowadays we have a plastic christmas tree – although I miss the smell of an actual fir I dont miss getting fir-needles in my feet..
We managed to get the tree up but before anyone even had time to even mention decorating it – it had been scaled by our resident Australian – and he had no intention whatsoever on coming down.. instead he treated the fake tree as his own hunting ground… … seeing the glint in his eyes we’ve now decided to put the tree back in its box..
Selkirk Rex kittens
Even though the blog says “LaPerm owner” we also have Selkirk Rex, another fairly new curly breed, cats. Here are two kittens we had : Dimma to the left and her brother Douglas on the right. [EDIT: I added a bonus photo of another former kitten ; Filiokus - him being a shorthaired Selkirk Rex, the other two being longhaired]
