Today was the first day of snow! – Two of our cats went outside to experience it first hand, for our LaPerm boy Bysen it was the first time – Abracadabra, our Selkirk Rex male has learned to love it.
Also, today my sister-in-law and her great family came to visit us.. and since “I have a camera” I was asked if I could take a few portrait photos of their two youngest sons. I’m not much of an instructor so I just let the boy do whatever he felt like.. and I guess his impatience shines through on these shots (I have yet to look at the photos I took of his brother)
We welcome our new Australian boy Woodsmoke a.k.a Woody, here he’s seen on day two and already playing with Bysen.
This summer our catsafe garden was completed… here you can see a video of it_ and oh yeah - it’s “LaPerm” and not “La LaPerm”. We had ten kittens at the time.

Today our wonderful daughter turns 15 – happy birthday Ida!
Our Selkirk Rex female Daisy.
Our planned stud Bysen was neutered a couple of days ago – one of his testicles failed to drop – instantly disqualifying him from breeding. Today he comforted himself with literature. — bye, bye manlihood – hello wonderfule castrate!
This summer we had 10 kittens at the same time, one LaPerm and one Selkirk Rex litter – each litter cosisting of 5 kittens each…. when we discovered fleas they had to have a bath.. here’s the Selkirk Kitten HokusPokus:
Last of the photos from Nov 8.
Today was a strange day – it started out a warm and sunny November day and turned into deep mist.. I had my camera with me and I will use the next few days to post the results..
I accidently deleted this post – so here it is again.
